01 · The challenge
Digital invisibility
Despite offering premium services in a prime Cambridge location, this private dental practice was virtually invisible online. For high-intent, urgent searches like “emergency dentist Cambridge” or “private cosmetic dentistry”, it languished on page two or three of Google’s results.
It was losing precisely the high-value patients it wanted to attract, to competitors with weaker services but stronger search visibility. Its Google Business Profile was unverified and lacked crucial information.
02 · The strategic solution
Fix the foundations, then go hyper-local
We ran our audit and strategy roadmap to identify the technical roadblocks before executing a hyper-local campaign.
Technical triage
The audit revealed severe keyword cannibalisation and slow mobile page speeds. We rectified the site architecture and implemented local-business structured data.
Map Pack visibility
We claimed, verified and fully optimised the Google Business Profile, with a strategy for generating consistent patient reviews.
Local service pages
We created dedicated, location-specific landing pages for high-value treatments (for example “Invisalign in [area]”), sending strong local relevance signals to Google.
The measurable outcomes
Measured over 90 days
Within 90 days of the strategy going live, the practice saw a significant shift in visibility and in the quality of patient enquiries.

The evidence
What this engagement did and did not measure
The figures above are the outcomes that were tracked at the time. This work predates AI-visibility measurement, so there is no AI citation baseline for it — and we are not going to invent one retrospectively.
Every engagement now starts with a multi-engine audit that records whether the AI assistants name the business when a buyer asks without using its name, and every report carries a Scan ID so any figure can be traced to the run that produced it.
We publish our own audit on the same terms, including the parts that do not flatter us. Read our own report (PDF, opens in a new tab).
