I am Dario Adriano Lapegna—a Google-Certified AI Professional, Enterprise Infrastructure Consultant, and former Clinical Operations Manager.
My approach to high-performance architecture wasn’t shaped inside standard marketing agencies. It was forged through 15 years in the high-stakes engine room of IT systems, fused with a decade navigating strict clinical data governance at the executive healthcare level. As a Clinical Lead, I commanded environments where system uptime and data insulation were absolute requirements. WHERE THE DATA DISCIPLINE ACTUALLY COMES FROM
Most people in this industry learned about data protection from a compliance course. I learned it at a bedside, and then from a manager’s desk, where the consequence of getting it wrong was not a fine.
I qualified as a nurse in Italy in April 2014. Before moving to the UK I worked, self-employed, as a Clinical Failure Investigation Officer — first with the Italian Resuscitation Council, then with the European Resuscitation Council.
The job was what the title says. Review the clinical data from a case. Establish what worked and what did not. Collect the part that could be turned into an improvement to international resuscitation guidelines. I have never had a role that translated more directly into this one. An AI visibility audit is the same loop with different subject matter: read the evidence, separate what is working from what is not, and produce something specific enough that somebody else can act on it. The stakes were considerably higher then. The method is identical.
It is also where I learned the habit that runs through everything here — that a finding is worth nothing unless it is traceable back to the data that produced it, and that the uncomfortable results are the ones worth publishing. In resuscitation research you do not get to quietly drop the cases that went badly. That is the whole point of looking.
I joined the Nursing and Midwifery Council register in November 2015 and have practised in the UK since January 2016, moving from adult nursing into senior clinical management. Today I am Clinical Business Development Manager at a private complex care provider. My registration is current and stays current — the role requires it, and advising on health data while holding a lapsed registration would be a slightly absurd position to occupy.

One distinction worth making, since this whole site argues that claims should be checkable. The NMC entry above is public and you should check it. The Italian degree and the Resuscitation Council work you will simply have to take my word for — that guideline work was self-employed, so there is no employer record to point you at. I would rather tell you which is which than let the two blur together and hope you do not ask.
This matters commercially rather than sentimentally. When Daryo89 advises a private clinic on opening its website to AI crawlers, or a law firm on what can be published under SRA transparency rules without over-disclosing, that advice is not being read out of a standard. It comes from a decade of being personally accountable for special category health data — who could see it, under what lawful basis, and what happened when a system made that easy to get wrong.
It is also why the DSPT work is not subcontracted. Most agencies cannot take that work at all, which is precisely why it sits here.
“SO ARE YOU ACTUALLY FULL-TIME ON THIS?”
Three Cambridge agencies have now looked at my LinkedIn, seen a clinical role, and asked me some version of that question. It is a fair one — nobody wants to build a service line on a supplier who might vanish, so here is the plain answer rather than making you ask.

The clinical role is a business development post, not a clinical rota — it does not compete for the hours Daryo89 needs, and it is the reason the registration stays live.

WHY WE CHANGED OUR MOTTO
Daryo89 launched with a line that meant something specific to me, and I still think it was the right promise:
The attention of a founder.
It was written for a business owner who had been burned. They had used an agency and got a template, a junior account manager and an invoice they could not interrogate. The promise was simple: you get the capability you would expect from a firm, and you get me on the phone. That part has never changed and it never will.
What changed is who was reading it. As the AI visibility work matured into a product, the people licensing it stopped being end clients and started being agencies, web designers and PR firms — the very people the old line positioned against. You cannot credibly sell a measuring instrument to a professional while your homepage tells them you are the alternative to their kind of business. The wording had become a friction point rather than a reassurance.
The attention of a founder.
The second half is untouched, because the accountability it describes is the whole reason the firm exists. The first half now says what I actually am rather than what I am not. An engineer is something an agency hires without conflict — and it is a more honest description of the work than “expertise” ever was, since the work is measurement, architecture and infrastructure rather than opinion.
I am leaving the old line here on purpose. A firm that sells evidence-led decisions ought to be able to show one it made about itself: the audience changed, the wording stopped being true to it, so the wording changed. That is the same argument I will make to you about your own positioning, and it would be worth very little if I had not been willing to apply it here first.
