Setup & Documentation

Everything you need to install, licence and run every edition of Daryo89 Multi Scan and AI Assessment — plus the Article Autopilot module, and exactly what to do if a step doesn’t go to plan.

General information

All editions share the same flow: install → activate your licence → scan → read the report → fix the ranked gaps → re-scan. The free WordPress edition runs entirely on your own server. The Client, Agency and M editions perform their premium analysis through the daryo89.com infrastructure: your plugin gathers the site’s signals, the Daryo89 audit service runs the live multi-engine analysis, Google Lighthouse and the market lookups, and your report is assembled — with your audit balance checked and counted centrally so it stays accurate everywhere. There are no API keys to buy or configure on Client and Agency.

One product, one name. Daryo89 Multi Scan and AI Assessment is the official name of the plugin and the name published on WordPress.org. Older material called it “D89 AI Visibility” or “the D89 AI Visibility Suite” — same product, same engine, same licences.

Words we use

TermWhat it means
Free scanThe technical scan — AI Readiness, Agent Readiness, GEO and SEO. Needs no audit credit. On the free WordPress edition it never leaves your server.
Premium auditThe live multi-engine analysis: citation testing across separate AI providers, brand analysis, sentiment, share of voice, market comparison, Lighthouse and security. Costs one audit credit.
Audit creditOne premium audit. Credits sit on your licence and remain valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. Counted when a scan starts. Your own date is shown beside the status on the plugin’s License page.
Licence keyWhat activates a paid edition. On Client and Agency the audits you buy carry the licence; on M it is your subscription.
Scan IDA unique 10-character stamp on every scan, free or premium. Shown in the Scan Log and printed in the report header. Always quote it in a ticket.
InstallationOne Autopilot licence bound to one website. Identified by a server-issued installation ID that the plugin cannot choose or forge.
SlotPermission to register an Autopilot installation — not a free installation. Each site you actually activate is still licensed at its per-site rate.
AllowanceAn Autopilot site’s monthly generation budget on the Agency plan, always shown as a percentage with its reset date.

Installing a paid edition

Your zip is delivered by email the moment payment clears, and stays in your daryo89.com account. In WordPress: Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin → choose the zip → Install → Activate.

Updates

Licensed installs receive updates directly from daryo89.com. WordPress checks roughly twice a day on its own — use Info → Check for updates now to check immediately after a release.

Traceability

Every figure in every PDF can be traced to the exact run that produced it via its Scan ID. That is what makes a client deliverable defensible when someone asks how a number was measured.

If a step goes wrong

Re-try once, then open a ticket from your daryo89.com account (support is ticket-only, so it’s always tied to your licence). Failed premium checks are re-run or the audit credit is reviewed and refunded — that promise is printed inside the report itself.

Setup & use

  1. Install. Plugins → Add New Plugin → search for Daryo89 Multi Scan and AI Assessment → Install → Activate.
  2. Run your first scan. Open the plugin’s Overview page and press Scan. In seconds you’ll get your AI Readiness, Agent Readiness, GEO and SEO scores with a ranked Priority gaps to fix list.
  3. Publish your AI files. Open the AI Files manager to create and publish llms.txt and ai.txt, and review your robots.txt AI-crawler rules. After saving, verify each file loads in a browser at yoursite.com/llms.txt.
  4. Fix, purge, re-scan. Work down the gap list. If you use a caching plugin or CDN, purge it before re-scanning so the checks read your live changes.
  5. Track your trend. Every scan is saved in the Scan Log with its scores and Scan ID — export to CSV any time, or download the branded PDF snapshot.
Tip: turn every red item green before anything else — AI engines reward sites that are fast, secure, machine-readable and clearly described all at once, so the gains compound.
File not visible at its URL? Re-save Settings → Permalinks in WordPress, purge any cache/CDN, and check your host isn’t blocking .txt files. Still stuck? Open a ticket with your site URL.

Setup & use

  1. Install the plugin from the zip in your purchase email or daryo89.com account (Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload).
  2. Activate your licence. Open the plugin’s License page, paste the licence key from your order confirmation, and press Activate. The page will show Active, your remaining audits, and a Your plan box with your usage overview. Use Recheck any time to refresh the status.
  3. Free scans first. Even before spending an audit you get 3 free scans per week — the same technical scoring as the free edition, ideal for fixing the basics.
  4. Run a premium scan. From Overview, start a Premium scan and keep the tab open: you’ll watch each step complete live — AI citation baseline, brand analysis by ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, the cross-engine synthesis, the independent AI evaluation, Google Lighthouse and security checks. A full run typically takes several minutes; one audit is deducted when the scan starts.
  5. Read your report. In the Scan Log, open the row (note its Scan ID) and use Report PDF for the full branded document or Assessment for the on-screen view. The AI evaluation at the top ranks your highest-impact fixes — start there.
  6. Re-test at day 30. The citation baseline is your T0. Newly published content typically takes 1–4 weeks to be indexed and cited by AI engines, so re-run a premium scan around day 30 and watch the citation figures move.
  7. Top up. Buy any audit bundle at daryo89.com using the same email address, then press Recheck on the License page — your balance updates automatically.
A step shows “failed” with a reason in brackets? The report is still generated from the checks that succeeded, and the failed step’s reason is printed both in the Scan Log and in the red notice inside the PDF. Re-run once; if it repeats, open a ticket with the Scan ID — we re-run the failed checks or refund the audit credit.

What it scansAny domain. Install once on your own site and audit client sites from there.
AI enginesGemini, ChatGPT and Claude — queried live and independently.
Free technical scansAlways available; they need no audits and no licence.
API keys neededNone — including for Article Autopilot, so your client sites never hold a key.
UnlocksClient-site scanning · white-label Report template · Premium Queue · background queue with email delivery · native-language reports · local + national market analysis · Autopilot Add-Ons dashboard
The old 10-audit threshold is gone. Earlier builds gated the Report template, Premium Queue and market analysis behind a 10+ audit pool. From Agency 1.14.0 the full build unlocks with any active Agency licence, and pool size is only audit credit. If you still see a “10+ audit tier” message anywhere, it is a stale string — the capability is already yours.

Setup & use

  1. Install & activate exactly as the Client edition: upload the zip, then License page → paste key → Activate. The Your plan box confirms your tier and remaining audits.
  2. Brand your reports. Open Report (the template editor) and set your company details, your Logo URL (shown on-screen and as the PDF letterhead) and your Watermark URL — the faint full-page stamp behind every PDF page. Use a pre-faded PNG at roughly 5–10% opacity or it will overpower the text; transparent PNGs are flattened automatically. Leave either field on its default to keep the standard art.
  3. Scan a client site. On Overview, enter the client’s URL as the target and run a premium scan — one audit per report, watched live on screen, exactly like a self-scan.
  4. Or use the Premium Queue for batches. Add client sites to the Premium Queue, press Run (or Run pending now to force everything waiting), and get on with your day — set your notification address in Settings and you’ll receive an email the moment each report is ready.
  5. Deliver. Every PDF carries your branding, the client’s scores, the local market set (their ten nearest competitors via Google Places), the national set (the ten providers AI assistants cite in their niche) — and its Scan ID, so any figure is defensible if the client asks how it was measured.
  6. Non-English clients: when the audited site’s language is French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese or Dutch, the report automatically includes a second, native-language evaluation. English sites skip this step (it will show as not required in the log — that’s normal).
  7. Add delivery. Once the plan is agreed, license Article Autopilot on the client’s site to publish the content that closes the gaps you just measured.
Selling tip: run the client’s first premium scan before your pitch meeting. The citation baseline (“here’s who AI recommends instead of you”) closes retainers on its own — and the day-30 re-test becomes your built-in follow-up.
Queue item stuck on “pending”? Press Run pending now. If items regularly wait, your site’s scheduled tasks may be delayed by heavy caching — the button always forces the run immediately. No email arrived? Check the notify address in Settings and your spam folder; the report is in the Scan Log regardless.
About the national market section: for very new or highly specialised niches, the AI engines occasionally cannot reliably name established national providers. When that happens the report says so honestly instead of printing guesses — for an emerging category, that absence is itself a finding. Re-running usually populates it.
M — Partner accredited partners · monthly subscription

Price£250 per month, single site
How it activatesYour subscription key. Keep it active — if it lapses, premium scanning pauses until it renews.
AI enginesGemini, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity — the only edition that queries all four. Perplexity is the fourth engine and needs its own key (DARYO89_PERPLEXITY_KEY); without it the scan runs the other three and records Perplexity as not configured.
Without your own keysRuns on the daryo89.com infrastructure: 5 premium audits per month and 5 free scans per day.
With your own keysUnlimited premium and free scans, run directly on your own providers.
Exclusive to MPerplexity as a fourth engine · the M report design · Companies House verification · AI crawler analytics · technical & on-page site audit · built-in MCP server · encrypted key vault
AutopilotThe subscription is also the Autopilot account anchor: access is included, with 20 slots. Each site is £5/month.

Setup & use

  1. Install & activate as usual: upload the zip, License page → paste your subscription key → Activate. The Your plan box shows your subscription and next renewal date.
  2. Choose how you run. Out of the box, M runs on the daryo89.com infrastructure with 5 premium audits per month included — nothing to configure. Add your own AI provider keys and premium scanning becomes unlimited.
  3. Add your own keys (optional, recommended). In Settings → AI provider keys & model, enter your Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity keys — Perplexity is the fourth engine and runs only when its key is present. Keys are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and never shown again. For the strongest protection, define them in wp-config.php instead — constants always win over the fields:
    define( 'DARYO89_GEMINI_KEY', 'your-gemini-key' );
    define( 'DARYO89_CLAUDE_KEY', 'your-anthropic-key' );
    define( 'DARYO89_OPENAI_KEY', 'your-openai-key' );
    define( 'DARYO89_PERPLEXITY_KEY', 'your-perplexity-key' ); // the fourth engine — M only
// optional — run Google Lighthouse and the local-market (Places) lookups on your own Google quota:
    define( 'DARYO89_PSI_KEY',    'your-pagespeed-key' );
    define( 'DARYO89_PLACES_KEY', 'your-places-key' );
Resolution order for every key: wp-config constant → encrypted Settings field → daryo89.com infrastructure. Only the three AI keys change your metering — DARYO89_PSI_KEY and DARYO89_PLACES_KEY are optional and simply move the Lighthouse and Google Places lookups onto your own Google quota. The full list of supported keys is documented inside the plugin under Info → API keys & configuration.
  4. Companies House verification (automatic). On premium scans of UK businesses, the report checks the registered company name, number, status, incorporation date, nature of business and registered office live against the Companies House public register, and states plainly whether the details published on the website match the official record. When the location verifies, the local market comparison is anchored to that confirmed office. When details differ, the report says so.
  5. Turn on agent access (optional). Enable the built-in MCP server in Settings to let Claude, Cursor or any MCP client query your visibility data in plain language — crawler activity, AI referrals, discovery-file status and the last readiness scan. Every tool is read-only and spends no audit credit. Access is protected by a private token you control and can rotate at any time.
  6. Everything else works as in Agency: client-site scanning, Premium Queue with email delivery, white-label Report template, native-language evaluation, local + national market analysis — always unlocked on M.
Added your keys but scans still count against the monthly 5? Check the constant names above character-for-character (a typo silently falls back to the included allowance), confirm the key is valid with your provider, then press Recheck on the License page. Still metered? Open a ticket.
Article Autopilot add-on module · Agency & M only

Autopilot is the delivery half of the same plugin. The scanner tells you which questions the AI engines answer without naming your client; Autopilot reads those reports, chooses the topics that close the gaps, writes and publishes on-brand articles, and cross-posts them to social — on a schedule you set.

Not sold on this website. An Autopilot licence binds at activation to the website’s host, to your account licence, and to a server-issued installation ID. A public cart cannot create that binding, so the licence is issued from inside the plugin, on the site where it will run.

M — per site£5 / month. Generation always runs on your own API keys, so there is no allowance to meter and nothing to top up.

Where to buy itInside WordPress. Agency: Daryo89 AI → Autopilot Add-Ons. M: Daryo89 AI → Autopilot.

Setup — Agency

  1. Take out the access fee. From Daryo89 AI → Autopilot Add-Ons on your own site, start the £50/month Agency access subscription. This is the account anchor: it is a different key from the audit-pool licence you already hold.
  2. Enter the access key once. Paste it on the Autopilot Add-Ons page. From then on that page is your estate view for every client install.
  3. Install Autopilot on the client site and license it there. Registration checks three things: that the key has not already been bound to a different host, that your account holds an active access fee, and that you still have a free slot.
  4. Configure and let it run. Set the cadence, the categories and the service catalogue it writes from. Choose review-before-publish or let it publish directly.
  5. Manage the estate. Back on Autopilot Add-Ons you’ll see every install with its state, grace warnings, slot usage and the monthly generation budget as a percentage with its reset date. Suspend and resume individual client installs from here.

Setup — M

  1. No access fee to buy. Your M subscription is already the account anchor and already grants 20 slots.
  2. Install Autopilot on the site and license it from Daryo89 AI → Autopilot at £5/month for that installation.
  3. It runs on your own keys. The same provider keys the M edition uses. There is no allowance percentage and no top-up, because you carry the model cost directly with your provider.
  4. Use the panel for licence state, estimated month-to-date spend from measured tokens, and the suspend/resume control for API-costing work. Suspending stops new generation; queued jobs finish and scheduled posts still publish.

Licence states you may see

StateWhat it means
ActiveRunning normally.
PausedAn owner decision — you suspended it from the dashboard. Resume from the same place.
CappedThe site reached its monthly generation allowance. New generation stops; queued work finishes and scheduled posts still publish. Wait for the reset or apply a top-up credit.
Grace / flaggedYour account’s access fee has lapsed. Installs are flagged, then paused, then deactivated on a schedule — and recover automatically if the anchor returns.
DeactivatedLicence-driven, not self-serve. It frees the slot. Talk to us if it was not expected.
Moving a client site to a new domain? A key already bound to one host is refused on another — that is the protection that stops one licence being spread across many sites. Rebinding is ticket-gated: open a ticket and we move it. A reinstall or database wipe on the same host is fine — the record heals itself and the paid seat is never stranded.
Billing is simple on purpose. Everything invoices to the licence holder — one account, one bill payer, one support relationship. Every installation under your key is visible and controllable from your own dashboard, so you always know what you are paying for.

Troubleshooting

Scanning & licensing

What you seeWhat it means & what to do
“Licence key not recognised” on activationCopy the key again from your order email (no leading/trailing spaces) and press Activate, then Recheck. Make sure you’re activating the edition you purchased. Still refused? Ticket with your purchase email and the last 5 characters of the key.
“You’ve reached the free-scan limit”By design. Client includes 3 free scans per week; M without its own keys includes 5 per day. Run a premium scan, or wait for the window to reset. On Agency, free scans always run.
“No audits left” / premium won’t startYour pool is used up. Buy any bundle at daryo89.com with the same email, then Recheck on the License page — credits stay valid for 3 years from purchase. Your licence stays active and free scans keep working.
“Please contact support: this licence requires a manual review.”A protection state on the daryo89.com infrastructure — the licence has been paused pending a human check (for example after unusual activity or a payment issue). It cannot be cleared from your side and no audits are consumed while it stands. Open a ticket; after review we restore the licence or issue a fresh one.
Red notice: “Some checks did not complete … [reason]”The report was still generated from everything that succeeded, and each failed step shows its reason in brackets. Re-run once (AI providers occasionally have a bad minute). If it repeats, ticket with the Scan ID — we re-run the failed checks or refund the audit credit.
Google Lighthouse / PageSpeed shows “unavailable”The note beneath it states the exact reason. Most commonly the licence wasn’t active yet when the scan ran — activate, then re-scan. If the note mentions the daryo89.com service, simply re-run in a few minutes.
Native-language evaluation shows “not required”Normal: the audited site is in English, or its language isn’t yet in the supported set (FR, ES, DE, IT, PT, NL).
An engine’s row shows a grey dashThat engine returned no answer for that question, so nothing is counted for it — it is excluded from the rates rather than scored as a miss. If you switched an engine off in Settings, the Scan Log says so in plain words and no audit credit was used for it.
Scores didn’t change after my fixesPurge every cache layer (plugin, server, CDN) before re-scanning — the checks read your live pages, and a cached copy will happily keep serving the old ones. Citation figures are different: the web takes roughly 1–4 weeks to index a change, so re-test at around day 30.
Update released but not showingWordPress polls roughly twice a day. Info → Check for updates now forces an immediate check on licensed installs.
Queue email never arrived (Agency)Confirm the notification address in Settings and check spam. The finished report is always in the Scan Log either way.

Article Autopilot

What you seeWhat it means & what to do
“This key is already bound to another site”Each Autopilot licence binds to one host. Rebinding is handled by support so it can be checked — open a ticket and we move it. Reinstalling on the same host is fine and needs no action.
“No active access-fee subscription was found on this account”Autopilot could not find an active anchor on the account that bought the key. On Agency that is the £50/month access fee; on M it is your subscription. Check it is active and billed to the same account, then retry.
“All slots on this account are in use”You have registered as many installations as your slot pool allows. Buy a slot block (+20 or +50), or deactivate an installation you no longer need — deactivating frees its slot.
A site shows as cappedIt reached its monthly generation allowance. Queued work finishes and scheduled posts still publish. Wait for the reset date shown, or apply a £5 top-up credit to that site.
Installs show a grace warningThe account’s access fee has lapsed. Restore it and the installs recover automatically — they are flagged first, then paused, then deactivated on a schedule, so there is time to fix it.
An install appears without a licence attachedIf our billing system was briefly unreachable at registration, we register the install anyway rather than block your client’s site, and flag it for manual binding. It will be resolved from our side; tell us if you notice it first.
Suspend or resume was refusedSelf-serve covers active ↔ paused only. Deactivated is licence-driven and capped is a budget matter — neither can be cleared with the switch, and the dashboard explains which applies before you click.
We fix it with you

Open a support ticket

Support for the suite is provided EXCLUSIVELY through the ticket system. Tickets are opened from your daryo89.com account, so every request is automatically tied to the licence owner — that link is what lets us verify your licence, trace your Scan IDs, re-run failed checks, rebind an installation and refund audit credits securely. Emails and social messages cannot be matched to a licence and are not tracked as support.
Every ticket is handled directly by the developer. Include the items below and most issues are resolved in a single reply — failed premium checks are re-run, or the audit credit is reviewed and refunded.

Please include:

  • The Scan ID of the affected run (Scan Log, under the date — also printed in the report header)
  • Your edition and plugin version (report header, or the Info page)
  • The site the plugin is installed on and, for Agency, the audited URL
  • For Autopilot: the installation’s domain and, if you have it, the installation ID shown on the dashboard
  • Your purchase email and the last 5 characters of your licence key — never send the full key
  • What you expected, what happened instead, and roughly when (with timezone) — a screenshot helps enormously

Quick answers

Documentation FAQ

Do my audit credits expire?
Yes, but not quickly: credits remain valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. In practice that is far longer than any normal reporting cycle — a 50-audit bundle used at one client report a month still lasts comfortably inside the window. Top-ups bought with the same email are added automatically; just press Recheck on the License page. Your exact date is shown there too, next to the licence status — so you never have to work it out from an old receipt.
Does a failed scan consume an audit?
A premium audit is counted when the scan starts. If checks fail, the report is still generated from everything that succeeded, and each failed step records its reason. Re-run once; if it repeats, open a ticket with the Scan ID — we re-run the failed checks or refund the credit.
How do I unlock the Agency edition?
With any audit bundle of five or more. The five-audit bundle at £250 carries the licence that switches Agency on, and the full build unlocks with it — client-site scanning, the Report template, the Premium Queue, native-language reports and the market analysis. Larger bundles only reduce the per-audit rate. A single audit activates the Client edition instead.
Can I move the plugin to a different website?
Contact support before migrating and we’ll move the licence with you. Activating the same licence on a second site without a review will pause it for a manual check — that protection keeps every customer’s audit balance safe. The same applies to an Autopilot installation, which is bound to its host at activation.
Can I buy Article Autopilot on its own?
No. It is a module of this plugin, not a separate product: it runs inside the plugin, reads the plugin’s own audit reports to decide what to write, and needs an active Agency or M licence. If Autopilot is the only part you want, you still start with an Agency key — the five-audit bundle at £250. The module itself is then licensed from inside the plugin, on the site where it will run.
What is a slot, and how many do I get?
A slot is permission to register an Autopilot installation, not a free installation. An active Agency access fee — or an active M subscription — grants 20 slots, so you may register Autopilot on up to twenty sites; each site you actually activate is still licensed at its own per-site monthly rate. Slot blocks add +20 or +50. When every slot is in use the next registration is refused with a plain explanation rather than failing silently.
Can Autopilot spend my audit credits?
No. They are metered separately on purpose. Audit credits pay for premium multi-engine scans; Autopilot generation is billed against its own monthly allowance on its own licence. Writing content can never quietly consume the audits you bought for client reporting.
Why is Autopilot cheaper per site on M than on Agency?
Because of whose API keys do the work. On Agency generation runs on the daryo89.com infrastructure, so your client sites need no keys at all and we carry the model cost — hence £15 per site and a metered monthly allowance. On M it always runs on your own provider keys, so you carry that cost directly with your provider and the licence itself is only £5 per site, with no allowance to meter.
Which pages does the scan analyse?
The scan reads the target site the way an AI crawler does, anchored on the homepage and the machine-readable layer (llms.txt, ai.txt, robots.txt, structured data, sitemap). Fix the homepage and the AI files first — they carry the most weight in every engine’s ability to find and cite you.
Where do the market comparisons come from?
The local set is real data: the ten nearest competitors in the same category from Google Places, with their ratings and review counts. The national set is what the AI engines themselves cite as the recognised providers in the niche — each entry validated with a real company name and domain before it’s allowed into the report.
Why are branded and non-branded scores separate?
Because they measure different things. A branded question names the business, and almost every established company scores well because the engine simply reads their website — that’s recall, not demand. A non-branded question is what a real buyer types, and the name only appears if the engines have a reason to name it. That second number is the one that wins work, so we report them apart. The gap between them is usually the whole story.
Is my clients’ data safe?
Premium scans read only what is publicly visible on the audited site — exactly what any AI crawler already sees. The free WordPress edition never contacts any external service at all. Licence checks and audit metering run on Daryo89’s UK infrastructure, and API keys you add on the M edition are encrypted at rest with AES-256.
