Security and latency mitigation

Sub-second execution is the mandatory baseline for AI visibility and B2B conversion. You cannot fix a hardware bottleneck with a software plugin, so we work at the server: database, plugins, assets, Redis, Cloudflare, Core Web Vitals — measured before and after, and refunded if the score does not improve.

The hardware reality

Why Time to First Byte dictates your AI visibility

Google’s own research found that as mobile page load time goes from one second to five, the probability of a visitor bouncing rises 90 % (Google/SOASTA, 2017 (opens in a new tab)). Human patience is only half the problem: search and AI crawlers work to a budget, and a slow server gets crawled less and abandoned sooner. Commodity agencies mask this with heavy caching plugins on cheap shared hosting — more code on a server that is already failing. Real latency mitigation is engineered at the root.

The third-party deficit

  • Shared CPU and RAM bottlenecks
  • Problems masked with “optimiser” plugins
  • Database bloat ignored
  • No server-level object caching
  • Cross-site contamination

Our protocol

  • High-performance dedicated VPS
  • True Redis object caching, server-side
  • Forensic database sanitisation
  • Cloudflare enterprise edge routing
  • Strict hardware isolation

The engineering protocol

Six steps, in order

  1. Step 1

    Database optimisation

Transients, orphaned metadata and bloated revisions that choke queries and delay rendering — removed.

  2. Step 2

    Plugin audit

Resource-heavy third-party scripts identified and replaced with lightweight code.

  3. Step 3

    Asset compression

The media library encoded to next-generation WebP: smaller payloads, no visible loss of quality.

  4. Step 4

    Redis integration

Object caching that bypasses repetitive PHP execution and cuts database load by up to 80 %.

  5. Step 5

    Cloudflare enterprise

Enterprise DNS and CDN for immediate global delivery and DDoS mitigation.

  6. Step 6

    Core Web Vitals alignment

LCP and CLS targeted forensically to secure your visibility.

Stabilise on your current host, or migrate

Strategic advisory

Optimising a site on a bloated, shared server is a temporary stabilisation. Hardware caps performance, and without continuous governance the bloat returns. The Blueprint Session says whether stabilisation is enough or the migration is the answer.

Baseline

Strategic Blueprint Session

  • Complete architectural review
  • Database telemetry audit
  • Media compression (WebP)
  • Code minification (CSS/JS)
  • Security headers: guaranteed A grade
  • Speed stays capped by your current host’s hardware

Enterprise results

What clients report, and one case in detail

Our bounce rate was critical because the site took five seconds to load on mobile. Daryo89 executed the migration and got it under one second. B2B enquiries increased instantly.

Tom B., Commercial Director

Google Search Console was flagging our entire infrastructure as Poor. After their engineering protocol everything is green, compliant, and our generative AI indexing improved dramatically.

Latency case study

The high-ticket e-commerce fix — 0.8 s final load

The deficit: a WooCommerce store with 5,000 products taking six-plus seconds to load product pages on shared hosting. High-value customers abandoned carts; the brand lost Share of Model.

The architecture: migration to a dedicated VPS, Redis object caching, and 2 GB of orphaned database telemetry removed.

No client work is published or used in our marketing without written consent, and clients choose whether to be named or anonymised. That is the Vault Protocol, and it is why the studies on this site carry no names.

Strategic clarifications

Why is the £495 Strategic Blueprint Session required?

We cannot engineer a migration without first analysing your database, your latency and your vulnerabilities. The session does that, stabilises what can be stabilised on your current host, and tells you honestly whether the host itself is the limit.

Why is baseline stabilisation limited by third-party hosting?

You cannot fix a hardware problem with a software plugin. If your host gives you a fraction of a shared CPU and caps your RAM, no amount of caching will produce sub-second pages. The migration removes the cap.

What does the A-grade security header guarantee mean?

Speed and protection go together. We deploy strict HTTP security headers — HSTS, X-Frame-Options, a content security policy — and guarantee an A grade on the standard scanners, so the site is fast and defended.

Will our site experience downtime?

Not by design: there is no planned downtime. We clone the architecture to a staging environment, do the work there, verify the telemetry, then deploy during a low-traffic window.

We have sub-second latency. What next?

Latency is the foundation; being cited is the goal. The next step is the semantic data layer the models need — the AI Visibility Packages or a GEO retainer — and, if you want it kept there, Performance Management at £500 a month.
